Program Available in: Prince George’s County.

The Absent Parent Program provides workforce development services to non-custodial parents. This program aims to increase the earnings capacity of unemployed or underemployed non-custodial parents who are failing to meet their child support obligations. Parents may enter the program voluntarily, usually through their local Child Support Enforcement Office, or be mandated through the courts from contempt and paternity hearings.

Eligibility:

• Must be a non-custodial parent
• Must reside in jurisdiction(s) where program is located
